Home and Lifestyle Gurus launched the trailer for the upcoming series’Upper Stabilizer: Welcome homeFrom their Magnolia network.
The series is “the comeback of the much loved Fixer Upper series,” according to a press release.
The release states that the first four episodes of the show will be available on Discovery + On Friday, January 29, 2021, new episodes will drop weekly until February 19.
Chip, 46, said in the trailer, “Okay, kid, we’re back on her.”
Joanna, 42, has repeated, “Back to work.”
During the clip, the married couple are seen demolishing and renovating homes in events Chip says are “like anything we’ve ever seen before.”
One of the houses they visited in preview falls off the knob when the Change Emperors arrive.
“We can fix that,” says Joanna.
They also come across a house with “some big surprises,” says Chip, including a bedroom full of trash.
“I’ve never seen anything like this,” Joanna admits.
Then Chip poured into one of his favorite parts of turning houses: demolition.
He said, “Show day is one of the things that never gets old,” he later told his wife, “When you talk about a demo, I mean that’s a run.”
“Oh my God,” she said.
It looks like there are a lot of adventures in store for Chip and Joanna, like smashing drywall and knocking down concrete block walls.
“I work hard, not smart,” explained Chip.
“I have nothing to say next,” said Joanna.
“Upper stabilizerIt was previously broadcast on HGTV from 2013-2018 and featured the couple tackling renovations in and around Waco, Texas.
Once leaving the show, the two launched a lifestyle empire, including home decor, books, and lifestyle products.
